"Programming is involved in everything we do today. Out of every app or website we access, someone had to do the work behind it for us to advance as human being. It's also such an interdisciplinary field that could be meshed in with other endless interests I have."

"Programming represents the door to infinite possibilities. Though the occasional bugs are frustrating, everything that matters won’t come easy. However, I am completely and utterly grateful for the journey, bugs and all, because, as my former mentor used to say, 'broken code builds character.'"

"What I love about computer science is the endless opportunities programming can lead to. We live in a world where we heavily rely on technology, and in order to keep up with this demand, we need to use our creativity. Computer science gives us the platform to build anything we want. Personally, I like to express my ideas in a physical or visual sense, and with coding I am able to do so. Whether it is games, websites, or apps, computer science is behind the scenes for all these programs. I am really interested to learn more about how cyber security works and how I can apply it to my own applications in order to ensure a safe and secure website or app."

"Computer science is becoming increasing relevant in today’s society. Almost everything around us is based on technology. The one thing that we always carry around, our phones, become increasingly efficient and powerful with every update and renewal. With the knowledge of computer science, you can use your creativity to create something new and original. As technology continues to improve, I am excited to see what computer science might do to improve our lives in the future."
