MISSION

IEC3 Mission statement:

The mission of IEC3 is to empower African American and Latina girls and women to enter STEM fields, and advancing their career readiness in technologies of the future. Many African American and Latina girls are interested in learning more about engineering and computer science, but lack the exposure in K-12 Education.

Additionally, they need to experience culturally relevant opportunities to pursue such disciplines in a way that connects with their current life experience, and dreams of their future.
