2015 Mission Engineering Mission to Mars

Students utilized principles from various engineering disciplines to develop, design and test solutions to various challenges facing a manned mission to Mars. The challenges were:

1. Minimize human radiation exposure during research station site construction
2. Generating electricity
3. Safe transport of personnel
