Keck Photonics Laboratory - Clean Room

Keck Photonics Laboratory, a state of the art micro and nanofabrication facility in the University of Southern California, is a user shared core facility that operates in class 10 and class 100 clean room. This clean room supports collaboration and multidisciplinary academic research activities, as well as electrical engineering instructional courses in the field of optoelectronic and microelectronic devices, nano-materials, sensors, MEMS and biomedical devices etc.

Professor Soltanolkotabi's research group focuses on design and mathematical understanding of computationally efficient algorithms for optimization, machine learning, signal processing, high dimensional statistics, and computational imaging.

Biomedical Imaging Group

Dr. Leahy's research interests lie in the application of signal and image processing theory to the formation and analysis of biomedical images. His research group is currently involved in the development and analysis of computational methods for formation of positron emission tomography (PET) images.

Professor Tanguay's research interests and experience include: the crystal growth and characterization of optical and optoelectronic materials, dielectric and optical thin film physics, and other experiences.
