Luis Dorado, Ed.D 

Vice President of Student Services and Economic Workforce & Development 

Dr. Luis Dorado is currently serving as the Vice President of Student Services and Economic Workforce & Development (EWD) at Los Angeles Harbor College.  Dr. Dorado has more than 20 years experience in Higher Education.  His professional journey in Higher Education commenced at Cal Poly Pomona as an Admissions Counselor.  He then moved to Santa Ana College as an Associate Dean of Instruction and Student Services in the School of Continuing Education.  From there he went to Los Angeles Trade Tech to take on the role of Dean of Student Services.  From here he went to Los Angeles Harbor College where he currently serves as Vice President.  Dr. Dorado has also considered his four years in the Marine Corps as part of his Higher Education journey.  Throughout his journey he has always been involved with transfer activities and initiatives.
