Civil Engineers
Civil engineers usually are on computers designing what they are going to build. The main challenge for them is the weather condition of the day of construction. There could be a hurricane, storm, rain, mudslide, etc. Anything could happen so civil engineers have to work very efficiently because when engineers fail, people die.
Mechanical Engineers
Mechanical engineers usually are in offices but occasionally visit worksites. Students are only required to have a bachelor's degree to become Mechanical engineers. Becuase this type of engineering is very broad, mechanical engineers design, develop, build, and test mechanical and thermal devices, including toold, engines, and machines.
Industrial Engineers
Industrial engineers find more efficient ways to use machines and tools to improve work. To become a civil a student would only need a bachelors degree preferably in industrial engineering. Although, most industrial engineers have degrees in mechanical engineering.
STEP 1: Desigin
First, we drew out multiple sketches in order to decide the most reliable design
Step 2: Building Bridges
First, we started building the bridge according to the design.
Step 3: Testing
Resources:
- 144 balsawood strips (1/8" x 1/8" x 36")
- 15 balsa wood planks (1/8" x3" x 36")
- 15 hot glue sticks
