LA STEM Collective

What is LA STEM?

The LA STEM Collective is a group of museums, aquariums, and nonprofit and community-based science education organizations. The group first came together in response to the pandemic, providing distance learning STEM education for Los Angeles students. Our mission continues to be providing rich and diverse science education opportunities for students and their families.

LA STEM and the USC Viterbi K-12 STEM Center

The K-12 STEM Center became involved with the LA STEM Collective in the summer of 2020. Since then, the Center has led virtual summer, in-school, and after-school STEM programs for elementary level students in LAUSD in partnership with the Collective.
